Google Chrome is an alternative to the typical browsers such as Internet Explorer and Firefox. I’ve been using this browser ever since it’s launch a few months back and so far, my experince with it has been great. It’s fast and simple. One feature that I feel will benefit all internet users is it’s malware detection feature. When you land on a website infected with malware, it will automatically detect it and ask if you want to proceed. A very handy feature indeed.

On the flip side, Google Chrome does have some drawbacks. For one, it’s only for the Windows platform, sorry Mac users. For second, sometimes certain web components won’t show up properly. For example,  if you would want to watch your favorite episodes of Simpsons on Fox.com, you couldn’t. Being that the application was written for IE and Firefox.

Despite some quirks here and there about Google Chrome, it’s my browser of choice.
